J U D G M E N T 

The Petition was filed on the 12th day of February, 2014 by Mrs. Audrey Adizatu Osumanu (hereinafter called the Petitioner) against her husband, Mr.  Abdel Karim Osumanu (hereinafter called the Respondent) for the following  reliefs: 

a. Dissolution of the marriage 

b. Custody of the minor 

c. $400 (400 United States dollars) monthly maintenance of the children and  payment of school fees. 

Per the petition, the parties married under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127)  (195 Rev.) on the 3rd day of May 1986 at the Registrar General’s Department,  Accra.

The parties have 6 issues namely: 

a. Nurudin Osumanu - 27years 

b. Abdullah Osumanu - 25years 

c. Mariam Osumanu - 22years 

d. Ibrahim Osumanu - 20years 

e. Muhiba Osumanu - 17years 

f. Karima Osumanu - 15years 

It is the case of the Petitioner that the parties were co-habiting at Bronx, in the  United State of America (USA) when the Respondent flew back to Ghana without  the Petitioner’s knowledge. It is further her case that the…
