JOSEPH OLUBUNMI KAYODE OYEWOLE, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): This is in respect of a Motion on Notice filed on the 12th November, 2024 wherein the Appellants/Applicants seek the following reliefs:

  1. An ORDER of this Honourable Court for the Suspension AND/OR STAY OF EXECUTION of the JUDGEMENT/ORDER of the Federal High Court, Abuja Division by HON.JUSTICE I. E. EKWO, in Suit No FHC/ABJ/CS/267/2024; Between Leno Adesanya & Anor vs Economic and Financial Crime Commission & 2 Ors on the 23rd day of September, 2024, pending the hearing and determination of this appeal.

  2. ALTERNATIVELY, AN ORDER OF INJUNCTION restraining the Respondents, and in particular 1st and 2nd Respondents, whether by themselves, agents, servants and/or privies or howsoever called, or anybody for that matter from executing or further executing, enforcing or further enforcing in any manner whatsoever or from giving effect to the judgment of the Federal High Court, Abuja Division, delivered by Hon.
