Judgement

TOBI JSC (Delivering the Lead Ruling): The applicant in a motion filed on 4 June 2007 asked for the following reliefs:

โ€œ1. An order for extension of time, pursuant to the provisions of Order 2, rule 28(3) of the Supreme Court Rules 1999, within which to apply directly to the Supreme Court for all the reliefs which were refused by the Court of Appeal in the interlocutory decision dated the 23 January 2006 in the application No. CA/ L/512/2004.

2. An order for extension of time within which to seek leave to appeal to the Court of Appeal from the judgment or decision dated 9 July 2004 as delivered by the Honourable Justice D. F. Akinsanya (Mrs.) in suit No. LD/2953/91 in the High Court of Lagos State, Lagos Judicial Division.

3. An order for leave to appeal to the Court of Appeal, LagosJudicial Division from the judgment or decision of the trial court dated 9 July 2004 in suit No. LD/2953/91 in the High Court of Lagos State, Lagos Judicial Division.
