(Delivering the Lead Judgment): This appeal is from the judgment of the High Court of Kano State of the 2nd day of November 2023 as was rendered by Usman Na’abba J. in Suit No. K/710/2022 dismissing the joint claims of appellant and 3rd respondent as claimants (each of them sued in a representative capacity) against the 2nd and 3rd respondents as defendants while granting the counterclaims of 2nd and 3rd respondents. Appellant and his co plaintiff (now curiously respondent to his appeal) claimed jointly from the High Court of Kano State in a joint statement of claim as follows:
