ONYEKACHI AJA OTISI, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The Appellant herein instituted a Fundamental Right Enforcement Suit by way of an Originating Motion, at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, against the Respondents, seeking the enforcement of his rights. He challenged his arrest, torture, harassment, detention for eight days without any Court Order; the forceful seizure, confiscation and forfeiture of his Grey Coloured Toyota High Lander Jeep with Registration No: LSR 69 DS, and Yellow Coloured L T 45 Commercial Bus Vehicle, with Registration No: APP 265 XN; as well as his Nokia Phone, Zenith Bank Cheque Booklet, National Identity Card and Smart Phone, all without any Court order. The Appellant further challenged the forceful seizure, confiscation and forfeiture of the sum of N3,000,000,000. 00, belonging to him, without a Court order.
