JUDGMENT

AMALEBOBA (MRS), J.

The wife Petitioner filed this Petition for dissolution of marriage on the  grounds of the unreasonable behaviour of her husband. She contended that as a result of this unreasonable behaviour, the marriage has broken down  beyond reconciliation. She prayed that each party bears their own costs of the action and for any further orders the Court deems it fit to grant. She  sought no ancillary reliefs by her Petition. 

The Respondent filed an answer and alleged that the intransigence of the  Petitioner was a stumbling block to any reconciliation efforts, otherwise the  parties would have long resolved their differences. He contended that he will  not reply to the falsehoods stated in the Petition. 

The facts of this case are that the parties both Ghanaian citizens were  married under customary law on 25th December 2010. The said marriage was later converted into a marriage under the Marriages Act (cap 127) on 25th December 2012. After the marriage, the Petitioner…
