BIZLINK INT'L LTD V. E. C. OBED (NIG) LTD & ANOR

UGOCHUKWU ANTHONY OGAKWU, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the decision of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja delivered on 9th December, 2014. The Respondents herein, as Plaintiffs before the lower Court instituted an action against the Appellant in SUIT NO. FCT/HC/CV/3254/2012: E. C. OBED NIGERIA LIMITED and ANOR. v. BIZLINK INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. The following reliefs were claimed:

“1. The sum of N9,942,583.81 being the cost of the 873 interior doors inclusive of custom duties, freight charges, transportation and other incidental expenses.

2. Loss of Profit being the sum of N1,309,500.00 at the rate of N1,500.00 per door.

3. 10% interest on the judgment debt from the date of judgment until same is fully liquidated.

4. Cost of this action as may be assessed by the Honourable Court.”
