OBIETONBARA OWUPELE DANIEL-KALIO, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the Judgment of the Federal High Court (the lower Court) delivered on 13/5/2016. The Appellants Bisoye Coker, Adedapo Adesoyin and Baruwa Olatunbosun, filed at the lower Court an application for the enforcement of their fundamental rights in which they also raised the following issues for determination by the lower Court:

1. “Whether the continuous trailing, hounding and onslaught on the Applicants and other staff of the Data Centre by the 1st and 2nd Respondents with the purpose of arresting and detaining the Applicants without reasonable suspicion of the Applicants committing any criminal offence, but in connection with exercising their functions as employees of the All Progressive Congress (a registered political party in (Nigeria) is an infringement of the Applicants’ right to dignity of person contrary to Sections 34 and 41(1) of the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 …
