Judgement

ESSIEN J (DELIVERING THE RULING): The defendant/applicant by a motion on notice dated and filed on 5th June, 2018 sought the following orders.

a) An order granting leave to appeal against the ruling of this court delivered on 7th June, 2017.

b) An order extending time within which to appeal.

c)   An order granting the applicant leave to extend time within which to file a “Notice and Grounds of Appeal against the decision referred to in paragraph A.

d) An order staying proceedings pending Appeal.

The motion is supported by an affidavit and a written address of the applicant counsel. The applicant place reliance on the affidavit and the address of counsel and urged the court to grant the application.
