JUDGMENT:
The undisputed facts of this case are that the parties were married under customary law sometime in September 2006. In 2006 the customary marriage was converted to a Marriage under the Marriage ordinance 1884 – 1985 (CAP 127) in Accra.
Some years after the marriage, the wife - Petitioner filed this Petition against the Respondent, her husband seeking a dissolution of the marriage celebrated between them, alleging unreasonable behaviour on the part of the Respondent. Particulars of unreasonable behaviour averred to by the Petitioner include the inability of the Respondent to satisfy the Petitioner sexually, the Respondent’s harassment of Petitioner over her inability to have children, the inability of the Respondent to keep matrimonial discussions
between the couple only, rather than telling same to friends, family and neighbours, the accusations of Respondent that Petitioner is having an affair with the store boy and the hostility of Respondent’s mother.
