 NOTE: This application was entirely heard at the Owerri Judicial Division of the Court but ruling delivered at the Enugu Judicial Division pursuant to Order 62, Rule 12(1) of the NICN Rules, 2017.

 INTRODUCTION

 The suit was commenced on 24th February 2015 via a Complaint. It was accompanied with a Statement of Facts. The reliefs claimed in the Statement of Facts are as listed hereunder:

 (i) A DECLARATION that the purported revaluation of the claimant’s masters and doctorate degree certificates by the Expanded Management Committee (EMC) of the 1st defendant at the behest of the 2nd and 3rd defendants and the consequent demotion of the claimant from lecturer 1 to lecturer III by the defendants is null and void and of no effect whatsoever.

 (ii) A DECLARATION that the decision of the defendants and in particular the 3rd defendant vide its letter ref. FPN/R/CLM/11/79 of September 23, 2013 to the effect that the claimant must acquire M.SC degree within 3 (three) years or stand dismissed by…
