SAMUEL CHUKWUDUMEBI OSEJI, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the Rulings of the Federal High Court, Lagos Division delivered on the 11th day of December 2015 by M.B. IDRIS J. in Suit No.FHC/L/CS/1219/2015.
There are in fact two Notices of Appeal filed by the Appellant on the 11-12-2015 against two different Rulings delivered by the Lower Court. The first Notice of Appeal marked (Notice of Appeal (A challenges the Ruling of the Lower Court on a Preliminary objection raised by the Appellant challenging the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court to entertain the suit No. FHC/L/CS/1219/2015 instituted by the Respondents herein. The 2nd Notice of Appeal also filed on the same 11-12-2015 challenges the Bench Ruling delivered by the Lower Court on the same 11-12-2015 which Ruling disregarded the contempt committed by the Respondents and adjourned hearing on the motion on notice dated 25-11-2015.
