Parties are both the descendants of Koley Kotey and the children of  Emmanuel Awuley Lartey (deceased) and Emmanuel Akrofi (deceased).  By their endorsement on the writ of summons and statement of claim  the plaintiffs sued the defendants for the following reliefs: 

a) Declaration that the entire property described as House No.  D 245/ 3 situate at Timber Market Junction, Amamomo in  Accra belongs to the descendants of Koley Kotey and for  that matter the children of both Emmanuel Awuley Lartey  (deceased) and Emmanuel Akrofi (deceased).  

b) An order directed at both parties to look for a common  investor who shall develop the entire property to the benefit  of all of them, that is, the children of both Emmanuel  Awuley Lartey and Emmanuel Akrofi and the proceeds  shared between them.

c) An order setting aside any purported alienation made by any  of the children of the deceased brothers (any of the parties  therein) as null and void and of no effect.
