J U D G M E N T 

Plaintiff’s Case 

The parties were once a married couple whose marriage contracted in 1990 was  dissolved in 2004. It is the plaintiff’s case that during the pendency of the marriage,  the parties jointly acquired two properties at Haatso, namely plot numbers 11 and 19,  Mabay Estate, Haatso, Accra through one Nana Boateng, the defendant’s relation. It  is the plaintiff’s case that the first property that was purchased was plot no. 11 but the  size of the land was small for the development they intended to carry out on the land and that led them to subsequently purchase plot no. 19.  

It is the plaintiff’s case that she and the defendant contributed financially to the  purchase of the plots and the construction of the building on plot no. 19. The plaintiff  avers that she gave various sums of money to the defendant and also to the defendant’s  relation Nana Boateng as contribution for the purchase of the plots and the  construction of the building on plot no. 19.
