HANAT SELA MOLAR PETITIONER V. RAMANI MOLAR

JUDGMENT 

The parties were married under the Marriage ordinance on the 5th day of November, 2011 at Accra Metropolitan Assembly. 

Per a petition filed on the 21st of February, 2007, the petitioner claims against the  Respondent as follows: 

a) That the said marriage be dissolved. 

b) That the Respondent be ordered to pay the Petitioner a lump sum compensation and the cost of the petition. 

The Respondent filed an Answer on the 16th day of March, 2017 in which he  denied the material particulars. He cross-petitioned as follows: 

a) An order for the dissolution of the ordinance marriage. 

b) Lump sum financial settlement.  

At the close of pleadings, the issues to be determined are: 

1. Whether or not the marriage has broken down beyond reconciliation.

2. Whether or not each of the parties is entitled to a lump sum provision.

Prior to the hearing, the parties executed and filed terms of settlement on the 11th day of May, 2017.
