HUBERT KUMAH V. JEMIMA YAYRA ADJAGRAH

JUDGMENT

By a petition dated 11th January 2024 but filed on 29th January 2024, the Petitioner (Hubert Kimah) sought per paragraph 11 of the petition the following reliefs against the Respondent (Jemima Yayra Adjagrah):

“(a) That the marriage celebrated on 12th of November 2016 between the Petitioner and the Respondent be dissolved since same has broken beyond reconciliation.

(b) That Petitioner be granted custody of the children of the marriage with reasonable access to the Respondent.”

Upon service of the petition on the Respondent, she proceeded to file on 9th February 2024 an appearance by her legal counsel and followed same up with her Answer and a Cross-Petition on 23rd February 2024. By that process, the Respondent also sought per paragraph 19 thereof the following reliefs against the Petitioner:

“(a) [That] the marriage between the parties be dissolved.

(b) An order for custody of the children namely; Selalinam Kwadzo Kumah and Segayram Komla Kumah be granted her.
