JUDGMENT

ACKAAH-BOAFO, J.

Introduction:

[1] The time has come to talk of many things – of a businessman’s dealings in Tramigo T23 GPS from Espoo, Finland with the Defendant Company – and of the unstable dollar exchange rate, the consequence thereof and a surreptitiously recorded meeting which has become the centerpiece of the litigation – the legal implication of the recorded meeting and its effects on the parties’ – and whether the Defendant is liable for the shortfall in the exchange rate the Plaintiff says he incurred. Those questions arise in this litigation, in which the Plaintiff claims the Defendant breached the contract between them and therefore seeks the payment of money and interest thereon.

[2] By a writ of summons issued on June 15, 2015 the Plaintiff claims against the Defendant the following reliefs:

i. Breach of contract.

ii. Payment of the sum of US$20,847.20 or its cedi equivalent;

iii. Interest thereon from 14th July 2014; and

iii. Further any other reliefs as may seem just…
