MASSOUD ABDULRAHMAN OREDOLA, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): The Applicants' Motion on Notice is dated 5th November, 2013 and was filed on 15th November, 2013. It was brought pursuant to Orders 7 Rules 1, 7 and 10 of the Court of Appeal Rules, 2011 and Section 24 of the Court of Appeal Act, 2004. They sought for five reliefs inclusive of the Grounds for the Application which are reproduced below:

"1. AN ORDER for the extension of time within which the Appellants/Applicants can seek leave to appeal against the judgment of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria sitting at Ibadan, Oyo State delivered on the 26th day of November, 2012 by Honourable Justice B. B. Kanyip in the case of Mr. A. A. Owolabi V. Local Government Service Commission Ekiti State and Attorney-General of Ekiti State, in Suit No, NIC/LA/160/2011 out of time, the time within which to seek the leave of the Hon. Court to appeal against the judgment having elapsed.
