JUDGMENT
DAVIS, J.
The parties were married under the Marriage Ordinance, 1951 Rev. (CAP 127) on the 14th day of November, 2015 at No. 10, Heritage University Road, Amasaman, Accra.
There are no issues of the marriage.
The Petitioner sought leave of the Court and same was granted for her to file a petition within two years of the marriage against the Respondent, in accordance with section 9(2) of the Matrimonial Causes Act, 1971 (Act 367).
The ground for the petition was that the Respondent has behaved so unreasonably that the Petitioner cannot be expected to live with the Respondent. This is because the Respondent has failed, refused or neglected to provide for the financial needs of the Petitioner. Therefore, the marriage between them has broken down beyond reconciliation.
She therefore prayed for the following reliefs:
a. That the marriage between the two parties be dissolved
b. That the Respondent bears the cost of this action.
