ESSIEN J (DELIVERING THE JUDGMENT): By a complaint dated and filed on the 26/1/2016, the claimant sought the following reliefs from this court;
1. An order to the defendant to pay to the claimant the sum of ₦22,310,358.75k (Twenty Two Million, Three Hundred and Ten Thousand, Three and Fifty Eight Naira Seventy Five kobo) being accumulated wages/salaries, allowances, leave grants and severance benefits from the 24th day of August, 2007 to the 29th day of September, 2015, being special damages.
2. ALTERNATIVELY the sum of ₦3,410,533.49k (Three Million, Four Hundred and Ten Thousand, Five Hundred and Thirty Three Naira Forty nine Kobo) only being the sum agreed by the defendant to be due to the claimant pursuant to the letter of cessation of contract/employment dated the 29th day of September, 2015, issued to the claimant by the defendant as special damages.
