NJOKU V. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

AKAAHS, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Ruling): The Appellant/Applicant who is standing trial before an Owerri Chief Magistrate Court in case No.OW/76C/ 92 brought this application after same had been refused by the High Court of Imo State, Owerri praying for:-

"(a)An order extending the time within which the Accused/Applicant may seek leave of this Honourable Court to appeal against the decision/judgment of the High Court of Imo State presided over by His Lordship Honourable Justice M.O. Maranzu delivered on the 13th day of February, 1997.

(b)An order of this Honourable Court granting the Accused/Applicant leave to appeal against the said decision/judgment.

(e)An order extending time within which the Accused/Applicant may appeal against the said decision/judgment."
