TOM SHAIBU YAKUBU, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the judgment of the Anambra State High Court of Justice, holden at Otuocha, which was delivered on 19th June, 2013.
The appellant as the plaintiff at the trial High Court, had claimed the following reliefs against the respondent, inter alia:
a. An order that the Defendant (now Respondent) hands over all the title documents of the landed property known and called No. 8 Iheonu Street, Ozalla Layout Obosi, otherwise known as Block V. Plot 14 Ozalla Layout, Obosi to the plaintiff.
b. N10, 000.00 (Ten Million Naira) damages for wrongful detention of the plaintiff's title documents and the resultant losses of same.
