Judgement


 1. The Claimant commenced this suit on 24th July 2019 and by her complaint and statement of facts claimed against the Defendant as follows:

a. A declaration by this Honourable Court that the Claimant’s contract of employment with the Defendant is one with statutory flavour.

b.  A declaration by this Honourable Court that the purported dismissal of the Claimant from the Defendant’s employment was not in line with the Employee Handbook and therefore irregular, unlawful, null and void.

c.   An order directing the Defendant to pay the Claimant the sum of six hundred and seventy thousand, nine hundred and seven naira, seven kobo [N670, 907. 7] being the Claimant’s salary assessed at one hundred and eleven thousand, eight hundred and seven naira, ninety five kobo [N111, 817. 95] from February 2019 to July 2019 at average sum of one hundred and eleven thousand, eight hundred and seven naira, ninety five kobo [N111, 817. 95] arrears per month. 

d. An order that the Defendant pay to the Claimant…
