JUDGMENT

The Plaintiff filed a Writ Of Summons and Statement of Claim against the Defendant on 9th September 2022 for the Reliefs as endorsed;

a. Payment of GH¢17,880.00 being the payment of 15% of the total compensation payment due the Agbetiame Family; and 

b. Any other cost that the Plaintiff may be entitle to;

The Plaintiff’s Claims:

It is the case of the Plaintiff that the Defendant in the course of their normal statutory public duties engaged M/S Daewoo Construction Company sometime in 2003 to reconstruct the Tema–Sogakope Road and in the process cause lots of damages and destruction to the properties and buildings of the Agbetiame Family of Tehey-Marfi in the Ada West District and the Defendant thereby promised to compensate the family.

According to the Plaintiff, the members of the Agbetiame Family of Tehey,-Marfi in Ada requested for their legal services to enable them make claims to compensate the family from the injury quarry operation of Daewoo Engineering they suffered.
