ABBA BELLO MOHAMMED, JCA (DELIVERING THE LEADING JUDGMENT): This is an Appeal against the Judgment of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, delivered on the 20th September, 2023 by Hon. Justice J. Enobie Obanor. The said judgment is at pages 351 – 370 of the Record of Appeal. Dissatisfied with the judgment of the trial court, the Appellants filed their initial Notice of Appeal on 20th October, 2023 which is at pages 371 – 383 of the Record of Appeal. However, the Appellants amended the Notice of Appeal vide the Amended Notice of Appeal filed on 16th February, 2024 and deemed properly filed on the 6th of October, 2024. The Record of Appeal was transmitted on the 1st of November, 2023.
