JUDGMENT 

The Petitioner and the Respondent married under the Marriage Ordinance, 1951 Rev. (CAP 127) on the 7th day of August, 2010 at the Church of Pentecost,  Merry Villas District, Accra. 

The parties are both citizens of Ghana. However, the Petitioner is a Restaurant  Supervisor and domiciled in the United States of America (USA) whilst the  Respondent is a Sales Officer and resident in Ghana. 

There is one child of the marriage – Brielle Queen Bruce, aged 5 years. 

The Petitioner filed a petition praying the Court for the dissolution of the marriage between her and the Respondent, an order for the custody of the child of the marriage to the Petitioner with reasonable access to the Respondent and maintenance to be paid by the Respondent for the upkeep of the child of the  marriage.
