Judgement

J U D G M E N T 

The Petitioner and the Respondent were married under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951 Rev.) on the 4th day of April, 2004 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Labone, Accra. There is one issue of the marriage, Danielle Nana Afua Dartebea Bruce who is 7 years old. The parties cohabited at Odorkor-Official town, Dansoman, South Odorkor, Accra. The Petitioner is an  insurer and the Respondent is a pharmacist. 

The petition was filed on the 9th day of October, 2013 for the following  reliefs:

a. The marriage contracted between the parties on the 4th day of April, 2004 be accordingly dissolved. 

b. That the parties share custody of their daughter. 

The Respondent filed an Answer on the 7th day of February, 2014 in which she denied the material particulars. She cross-petitioned for reliefs as follows: 

a. That the marriage between the Respondent and the Petitioner be dissolved.

b. Financial settlement in the sum of twenty thousand United States Dollars  (US$20,000.00) or…
