OVERVIEW

1. My Lords this is an appeal from the Judgment of the Trial High Court  dated 22nd September, 2023. The brief facts are that Plaintiff was a  former Staff of the Defendant Company where she held a couple of  positions including Senior Accounting Assistant and Senior Finance  Officer a position she held up until 28th February, 2019 when her  appointment was terminated to take effect from 4th April 2019. 

2. On 13th June 2018 plaintiff received a memo issued by the Director of  Finance of the Defendant company requesting plaintiff to respond to an  issue that has been discovered by an Audit Team to the effect that  plaintiffs obtained multiple special salary advance for a period of  nineteen months from February 2013 to August 2014. Plaintiff  responded to the said memo in which she stated that per the conditions  of service applicable to her, she was entitled to take multiple special  salary.
