UGOCHUKWU NWANKWO OBUMNEME V. THE ACCESS BANK PLC

ESSIEN J (DELIVERING THE JUDGMENT): The claimant by a complaint dated 10/3/2016 and filed on the 16/3/2017 sought the following reliefs from this court;

1. A DECLARATION that the claimant is entitled to the immediate release and payment of the sum of ₦4,500,000.00 (four million five hundred thousand naira) being the balance of the claimant’s full severance allowance found due to him as stated in his said termination letter.
2. AN ORDER compelling the defendant to release forthwith and pay up in full the balance of ₦4,500,000.00 (four million five hundred thousand naira) being the claimant’s severance monetary benefit in accordance with the binding conditions of service between them which was wrongly withheld by the defendant.
