AKPABIO, JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling): This is a ruling on an application on notice brought on behalf of the appellant/applicant pursuant to section 16 of Court of Appeal Act, 1976 for the following orders of this court:-
“1. An order admitting the applicant to bail pending trial or the determination of the appeal lodged against the ruling of the High Court of Anambra State, Onitsha Judicial Division delivered by his Lordship Obidigwe J., on 13th September, 2000.
2. IN THE ALTERNATIVE for a review of the conditions for the bail of the applicant imposed by the High Court of Anambra State, Onitsha Judicial Division as contained in the ruling of his Lordship, Obidigwe J., delivered on 13th September, 2000.
3. And for such further or other orders as the Court of Appeal may deem fit and proper to make in the circumstances.”
