J U D G M E N TÂ
Vivian Asantewaa Anim (hereinafter called the Petitioner) and Alex Kwesi Wiredu (hereinafter called the Respondent) were married under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951 Rev.) on the 30th day of December, 2007 at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Accra.Â
Per the Petition filed on the 8th day of April, 2013, the Petitioner is praying the Court for reliefs as follows:Â
a. That the said marriage be dissolved.Â
b. That the Petitioner be granted custody of the children of the marriage being Duke Barima Yaw Wiredu and Peniel Kwasi Nyarko Wiredu with regulated access by the Respondent.Â
c. That the Court determines an appropriate lump sum payment to the Petitioner by the Respondent.Â
d. That the parties bear their own costs.
Although there is an affidavit of service indicating that the Respondent was served with the Petition, the Respondent neglected to file appearance and an Answer to the Petition. He never appeared in Court save that on the 16th day of December, 2014 when …
