AN ACT to make provision for the prevention of abuse of the official seal, emblem and name of the World Meteorological Organisation.

1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the World Meteorological Organisation (Protection) Act 1959

2. Improper use of W.M.O. official seal emblem and name prohibited

A person, without the authority of the Minister responsible for Transport and Communications, shall not use for any purpose whatsoever any of the following, that is to say:(a)the design in the Schedule to this Act which is the official seal and emblem of the World Meteorological Organisation, or(b)the designation “World Meteorological Organisation” or any abbreviation of that designation.
