AN ACT to provide for status and constitution of the St. John Council and for related matters.

1. Incorporation and objectives of St. John Council

(1)The organisation which on the eighteenth day of June, 1959 took the name of the St. John Council of Ghana shall be the sole national St. John Council in Ghana, and is, as from the commencement of this Act, incorporated as a body with perpetual succession and a common seal and power to hold land.
(2)The objectives of the Council are(a)to co-ordinate in the Republic of the works of the St. John Ambulance Association and the St. John Ambulance Brigade, and to co-operate with the Ghana Red Cross Society;(b)to maintain fraternal association with the Grand Priory of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem in the United Kingdom and the St. John Organisations in other parts…
