WHEREAS a Convention entitled the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the fact of which is set out in the Schedule to this Act, and is in this Act referred to as “the Vienna Convention” was signed on behalf of the Government of Ghana in Vienna on the 18th day of April, 1961, for promoting friendly relations among nations by establishing in common agreement uniform principles and rules relating to diplomatic intercourse, privileges and immunities:AND WHEREAS it is decided to give effect to the Vienna Convention and to provide, so far as necessary, that its provisions shall have the force of law in Ghana:AND WHEREAS it is intended that the Vienna Convention shall replace the Diplomatic Privileges Ordinance conferring immunities and privil…
