IN exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister responsible for the Interior by section 28 (2) of the Ghana National Fire Service Act, 1997 (Act 537) and on the advice of the National Fire Service Council these Regulations are made this 6th day of June, 2002.

Part I – DISCIPLINARY REGULATIONS

1. Regulation 1 - Major Offences.

An employee of the Service commits a major offence if that employee(a)knowingly makes a false statement relating to his or her engagement in the execution of his or her duties;(b)destroys or mutilates or otherwise interferes with any book or document belonging to or used by the Service;(c)subject to any existing law discloses any confidential information without permission;(d)fraudulently or negligently misuses or …
