1. Citation

These Rules may be cited as the Medical Practitioners and Dentists (Election of Members of the Board) Rules.

2. Interpretation

In these Rules, "Returning Officer" means a person appointed by the Board for the purposes of these Rules.[L.N. 209/1983, r. 2, L.N. 216/1994, r. 2(a).]

3. Notice of election to the Board

(1)The Cabinet Secretary may, from time to time, by notice in the Gazette and in such newspapers circulating in Kenya as he may think fit, declare that an election to the Board of up to the five medical practitioners and two dentists prescribed under paragraph (f) of subsection 4(1) of the Act shall be held on …
