1. These Regulations may be cited as the Exchequer and Audit (Jua Kali Fund) Regulations, 1988, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st July, 1988.2. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires—“financial year” means the period from 1st July in any year to the 30th June in the immediately succeeding year (both days inclusive);“Fund” means the jua kali Fund established by the Treasury under section 32(1) (now deleted) of the Act;“officer administering the Fund” means the acounting officer responsible for the Vote of the Ministry of Technical Training and Applied Technology or any other person appointed by him in writing to administer …
