IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 147 of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, 1999, the Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources, makes the following Regulations:-

Part I – PRELIMINARY

1. Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Management and Co-ordination (Public Complaints Committee) Regulations.

2. Interpretation

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires—“Committee” means the Public Complaints Committee established under section 31 of the Act);“complaint” means an oral or written communication made or addressed to the Committee relating to any matter set out under section 32 of the Act;“investigation panel” means the unit of the Commit…
