AN ACT TO ALTER THE CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, 1999 TO CHANGE THE NAMES OF AFIKPO NORTH AND AFIKPO SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS; AND FOR RELATED MATTERS.

1. Alteration of the Constitution

The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (in thisAct referred to as “the Principal Act”) is altered as set out in this Act.

2. Alteration of Part I of the First Schedule

The First Schedule to the Principal Act is altered in Part I, by substituting for the words, “Afikpo North” and “Afikpo South”, in paragraph 11, line 1, the words, “Afikpo” and “Edda” ;

3. Citation
