JUDGMENT
1.0 INTRODUCTION:
The Plaintiff, which also describes itself as Acapulco Beach Limited, a limited liability company duly registered in and incorporated under the laws of Ghana sued out this writ against the Defendant seeking only three (3) reliefs; (a) An order for the recovery of all that piece or parcel of land measuring approximately 85 meters by 50 meters leased to the Defendant by the Plaintiff for breach of contract.
(b) A further order for the payment of rent arrears of US$126,351.30 or its cedis equivalent covering 31st May, 2012 to 30th April, 2017.
(c) Costs.
1.1 When served with the writ which was accompanied by a 17-paragraph Statement of Claim, the Defendant, also a limited liability company duly registered in and incorporated under the laws of Ghana, filed a Statement of Defence by which it generally denied the Plaintiff’s claim. Issues were thus joined between the parties.
