ESSIEN J (DELIVERING THE JUDGMENT): By a complaint dated and filed on the 14/12/2018, the claimant sought the following reliefs from this court:-

1) A DECLARATION that the proceeding of the defendants’ Ad-hoc Committee was devoid of fair hearing and the basic tenets of natural justice.

2) A DECLARATION that the claimant was subjected to inhuman and degrading treatment in the course of the Ad-hoc Committee proceeding.

3) A DECLARATION that the dismissal of the claimant from the defendant was unjustified and unlawful.

4) An ORDER setting aside the proceedings of the defendants’ Senior Staff Investigation and Ad-hoc Committees with their findings and recommendations.

5) An ORDER re-instating the claimant to the service of the defendants, and without any prejudicial treatment against him.

6) An ORDER directing the defendants to immediately effect payment of arrears of salaries and all benefits due to the claimant since July, 2018 to him.

7) An ORDER for ₦50million general damages.
