<p class="ql-align-center"><strong><span style="background-color: transparent">JUDGMENT</span></strong></p><p><strong>AMALEBOBA, J.</strong></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent">The Petitioner and Respondent were married at the Aggrey Chapel, Achimota School, Accra under the Marriage Ordinance 1884 – 1985 (Cap 127), on 24th November 2000. The Marriage which was celebrated under License Number AMA 7901/2000 was evidenced by a Marriage Certificate Number BACI – 25/2000/6. </span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent">The wife – Petitioner issued this Petition against her husband, the Respondent, praying for the following reliefs; </span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent">a. an order to declare the marriage between the Petitioner and Respondent as broken down beyond reconciliation </span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent">b. an order for the dissolution of the marriage </span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent">c. an order for the Respondent to pay substantial alimony to the  Petitioner </span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent">d.
