SAULAWA JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling): The instant application was filed on July 28 2010 pursuant to Order 7, rule 10 of the Court of Appeal Rules, 2007 and under the inherent jurisdiction of this court. By the said application, the applicants have prayed the court for the following reliefs:
An order of this honorable court extending the time within which the applicants may seek leave of this honorable court to appeal against the judgment of the Federal High Court, Lagos Division, coram. Mustapha, CJ (as he then was) in suit No. FHC/L/CS/368/2007 (“the suit”) delivered on 8 June 2009 (the FHC Judgment).
An order of this honorablecourt grantingleave to the applicants to appeal against the FHC judgment. 3. An order enlarging the time within which the applicants may appeal against the FHC judgment. 4. And for such further or other orders as this honorable court may deem fit to make in the circumstances of this application.
