AKOMOLAFE-WILSON JCA (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of Honourable Justice G. O. Kolawole of the Federal High Court, Abuja delivered on 27 January 2012. The facts are that the appellant was a lecturer and also an examination officer at the Department of Political Science for 3 years with the 1st respondents on 19 May 2011, he was confronted with criminal allegation of forgery and falsification of result of one FatimaAbdullahi committed in 2007, and was invited to appear before the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee on that same 19 May 2011. On 2 June 2011, the appellant, as applicant in the lower court, by a motion ex parte sought the leave of court for the following judicial reliefs: “(a) An order granting leave to the applicant to apply, for an order of prohibition and certiorari to remove the report of the respondents, Disciplinary Committee dated 3 October 2007 for the purpose of being quashed.
