(Delivering the Leading Judgment): The appellant, former Provost Interim of Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe, Anambra State, along with one other person Mr. Michael Emeka Ekwunife, the Bursar of the same Institution, were arraigned by the 1st respondent, for prosecution at the Federal High Court, sitting at Awka, Anambra State, for the offences of conspiracy to obtain money by false pretence and obtaining money by false pretence, contrary to Sections 8(a) and 1(1) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006.
