JUDGMENTÂ
Plaintiff and Defendant used to be husband and wife. Both of them are domiciled in United States of America (U.S.A) and therefore it is no wonder that both of them pursued this case through attorneys respectively; Plaintiff acting through his eldest daughter and Defendant acting through her aunt. The marriage of the parties broke down beyond reconciliation and a Court of competent jurisdiction dissolved the marriage in the U.S.A. on 26th January 2016. Besides dissolving the marriage, the Court also determined all the ancillary reliefs save those claims that related to properties that were in Ghana and thus outside the jurisdiction of the Court in U.S.A.Â
One such property is a residential house at East Legon built on a plot of land registered as AR 3297/2000 to be referred to as the premises. Plaintiff is by the instant action asking this Court to declare the said premises as jointly owned by both parties. He is seeking further order of sale of the said premises…
