The Claimant commenced this matter by a complaint filed on the 10th of January 2014 claiming the following as special and general damages.
a) Shortfall in the salary for five (5) months October 2012 – February 2013 at N1,150,000 per month x 5 = N5,750,000 (Five Million Naira) only.
b)N6,300,00 (Six Million, Three Hundred Naira) only being three monthly salary advance agreed upon resignation, to be paid to the plaintiff at the rate of 2,100,000 per month
c) Annual vacation package for one year $10,000.00 = N1,580,000 (One Million, Five Hundred and Eighty Thousand Naira) only.
d) N5,664.792 (Five Million, Six Hundred and Sixty Four Thousand, SevenHundred and Ninety –Two Naira) only being outstanding deduction pension to be paid to the plaintiff at the rate of 7.5% of the plaintiff salary.
e) N10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) only general damages for suffering and pains inflicted on the plaintiff by the refusal of the Defendant to pay the Plaintiff his entitlement since his resignation
