AN ACT to establish the Ghana AIDS Commission and the National HIV and AIDS Fund, to provide for the management of the Fund, to prevent and control the HIV and AIDS epidemic, to promote and protect the rights of persons living with HIV or AIDS and to provide for related purposes.PASSED by Parliament and assented to by the President.

1. Establishment of the Commission

(1)There is established by this Act a body corporate to be known as the Ghana AIDS Commission.
(2)For the performance of its functions, the Commission may acquire and hold movable and immovable property, dispose of property and enter into a contract or any other transaction.
