Volta River Development (Amendment) Act, 1968

In pursuance of the "Proclamation for the constitution of a National Liberation Council for the administration of Ghana and for other matters connected therewith", published in Gazette No. 11 of Monday, 28th February, 1966, this Decree is hereby made:

1. Act 46 amended.

The Volta River Development Act, 1961 (Act 46) hereafter this Decree referred to at the “principal enactment” is hereby amended by the substitution for subsection (1) of section 3 thereof of the following new subsection:"3. Constitution of the Authority(1) The Authority shall consist of a Chairman, the Chief Executive appointed under section 5 of this Act and six other persons appointed by the National Liberation Council of whom one, who shall have had experience in financial matters may be appointed as Finance Member, and two…
