MUHAMMAD JSC (Delivering the Lead Ruling): In a motion onnotice brought pursuant to section 233 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), section 27(2)(b) and (4) of the Supreme Court Act and Order 2, rules 28, 31 and 32 of the Supreme Court Rules, 1999 (as amended), the applicant asked for the following reliefs:
